THERE will be plenty of Roman and Viking activities taking place at Canal Side Studios in Droitwich from Wednesday (August 31) to September 15.
There will be children’s art and crafts workshops, using clay to cast some Roman coins and they can also be made into jewellery.
And a giant mosaic will be created which participants can add to as and when they drop-in.
Youngsters will also be able to design some Viking artwork, including challenging Celtic patterns.
Canal Side Studios, formerly The Meetbox, at St Andrew’s Shopping Centre, will be open from 10.30am until 4pm each day.
There will be other activities, such as music, in St Andrew’s Square and ‘paint a masterpiece in ten minutes’ competition, organised by the Droitwich Arts Network and supported by the Canal Side Studios.
A Roman and Viking themed exhibition by Droitwich Spa Arts Group will also be put on display for a fortnight from September 9.
