THE ANNUAL flag-raising ceremony for Armed Forces Day will be held in Droitwich on Monday, June 25, writes Layla Chiha.
This event, organised by the town’s branch of the Royal British Legion, takes place at 11am outside St Richard’s House, Victoria Square.
Residents will be able to show their support for the Armed Forces community, including current serving troops, service families, veterans and cadets.
Droitwich Deputy Mayor, Coun William Moy will be present, along with members of the Royal British Legion.
Everyone is welcome to the ceremony which will provide a much-valued morale boost for all serving personnel and their families.
