Droitwich 'still a great place to live' despite dropping 16 places in UK quality of life survey

WYCHAVON District remains one of best places to live in the country despite falling 16 places in the league table, writes Eve Watson.

According to the 2019 Halifax Quality of Life Survey the district, which includes Droitwich, has been ranked the 19th best place to live in the UK.

Wychavon was also ranked highest in the West Midlands’ region as the district with the best quality of life.

The survey takes into account residents’ health and life expectancy, personal wellbeing, earnings, education, housing and leisure.




Coun Bradley Thomas, leader of Wychavon District Council, said: “We are delighted once again Wychavon has been confirmed as one of the best places to live in the country.

“We are proud our wonderful district, which offers beautiful surroundings, a strong economy and a great sense of community spirit, has been consistently voted as among the best.”


Wychavon was third in 2017 and 2018.
