PEOPLE living or working in Droitwich Spa South East – including on the new Yew Tree Village housing estate – are being urged to attend a drop-in session with their local councillors to discuss issues affecting their area.

Wychavon’s latest Meet Your Council event takes place in The Hall at Newland Hurst, Newland Lane, Droitwich, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, May 26.

Councillors Richard Morris and John Grady, who represent Droitwich Spa South East on Wychavon District Council, are looking forward to hearing from residents, businesses and community groups about any concerns they have.

The pair will also be able to provide updates on local projects and representatives from West Mercia Police and

Platform Housing will also be there, along with Worcestershire County Councillor Bob Brookes and Droitwich Town Councillor Kate Fellows.

Coun Morris said: “I’m proud to represent this community and I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible at the drop-in session.

“Please come along if you can and find out more about what’s going on.”

Coun John Grady added: “Having conversations with local people is vital for us to understand the issues they face.

“This event is a perfect opportunity to get your views across and inform our plans for the area.”

Anyone unable to make the event but has a question or issue can email Coun Morris at [email protected] or Coun Grady at [email protected] to contact them.
