THE DROITWICH Spa Litter Squad were back in force over the weekend with their latest litter-pick.
Yesterday members tidied the area near Droitwich High School and on the A38 bypass.
The clean-up had been organised by deputy head Jonathan Brook and students from the school’s sixth-form accompanied DSLS to get items out of the brook, including old shopping trolleys.
In total 40 bags of rubbish were cleared from in front of the school and the layby on the A38 which backs onto the school.
Clive Shearman, who started the Droitwich Spa Litter Squad, thanked Wychavon District Council for collecting the full bags so promptly.
