YEAR eight pupils from Droitwich Spa High School got to take to the stage when a renowned Worcester theatre group ran a workshop at the school, writes Sophie Nixon.

Vamos Theatre, the UK’s leading full mask company, put on the session last Wednesday, led by actor Jaoa Aguiar.

He has recently starred in a nationwide touring production of the company’s original piece about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, called A Brave New Face.

Vamos is taking its funny and fearless brand of wordless theatre across both the UK and Europe.

Teachers at Droitwich Spa High School have said: “It was a fantastic experience for all those who took part.”
