Droitwich Rotary link is a fertile one for school legacy

Droitwich Editorial 11th Dec, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

A TOTAL of 30 trees were planted at Witton Middle School in Droitwich as part of a link with the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa.

The indigenous English varieties, which included silver birch, cherry and Rowan, were provided free by the Woodland Trust which is giving away more than 3,000 tree packs to schools and community groups.

The school and the Rotary Club are taking part in a 100th anniversary tribute for those who served in the First World War by creating a growing legacy that will stand tall for centuries to come.
