Droitwich residents invited on special London trip for charity

SPA RESIDENTS can go on a Christmas shopping trip to London, see West End spectacular Billy Elliot and raise cash for charity at the same time, thanks to a Droitwich firm.

HotelshopUK, which is celebrating its 15th year in business, has put together the £79-per-person trip for December 5.

And £20 of each ticket will be put toward’s the company’s chosen charities – The Little Princess Trust, which provides real hear wigs to children suffering hair loss through cancer treatment, and ‘The Ruimveldt Children’s Aid Centre’ in Guyana.

The trip will include return coach travel from Droitwich, leaving about ately 8.30am, and departing London at 10pm, with a ticket to evening performance of ‘Billy Elliot’- (worth £68 alone).




This latest event follows several other successful fund-raisers which have taken place throughout the year – from car boot sales to a golf day.

HotelshopUK is hoping to raise £15,000 to split between the two causes.


The company’s sales and marketing director Diana Evans said: “We thought this was a great way to combine a fantastic day out whilst raising money for our chosen charities.

“This is our second charity challenge to coincide with our 15th birthday and we hope the local people of Worcestershire will help us smash our £15K target whilst having a super day in London.”
