ORGANISATIONS across Droitwich Spa interested in in promoting pollinator friendly practices in their area are being invited to a free conference.
The Worcestershire Pollinators Conference 2018 for schools and community groups will be held from 9.30am to 4pm on March 27 at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust HQ, based at Hindlip in Worcester.
The conference will focus on pollinator friendly ideas and schemes for community spaces and is open to anyone representing a Worcestershire parish council or community organisation interested in promoting biodiversity and environmental awareness.
Speakers will showcase example projects and share ideas and experiences to explain the county council’s approach to roadside verges and to help implement pollinators practices in different areas.
The speakers include Buglife’s Paul Evans, Rob Deri from Worcestershire County Council Highways and Paul Esrich from the Malvern Hills AONB verges pilot project.
The deadline for booking is March 12.
