THE ANNUAL general meeting of the Droitwich Spa and Rural Area Neighbourhood Watch Association will take place at 7.30pm on April 19.

Co-ordinators of the town’s Neighbourhood Watch schemes are invited to the event which will take place in the John Corbett Room at the Droitwich Community Hall, Heritage Way.

Guest speaker Ch Insp Jerry Reakes-Williams, the Head of Operations for South Worcestershire, will talk about the current and future plans for policing in the county.

Those who go along will also be able to meet members of the Droitwich Neighbourhood Watch Committee, fellow co-ordinators and police officers.

Light refreshments will be held beforehand at 7pm.
