Droitwich man who plagued Westlands Estate with his anti-social behaviour given banning order

A DROITWICH man who has made other residents’ lives a misery on the Westlands Estate has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).

Wayne Espley, age 41, of Woodmans Rise, Droitwich, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court yesterday after the police made an application to curb his long-term persistent anti-social behaviour.

In line with the CBO, which will remain in place for two years, Espley must not ‘act in any way to cause the residents of the Westlands Estate area of Droitwich harassment, alarm or distress’.

The area where he must behave in has been drawn on a ‘Map A’ and also forbids him from using foul language, being verbally abusive or interfering or tampering with people’s property.

He faces being arrested and taken into custody if he breaches the order.

Droitwich Police have urged anyone who encounters Espley breaching the order to call them on 101.
