A DROITWICH man has been arrested in connection with a series of domestic-related offences in Worcester.

Hubert ‘Hubey’ Locke, of Wych Road, was held by Gwent Police overnight on Friday (April 11) and Saturday (April 12) on suspicion of criminal damage.

West Mercia Police issued an appeal for the 35-year-old on Friday after a property in Leckhampton Close had its windows broken everyday from Tuesday (April 8) to Thursday (April 10) and its residents received malicious communications and threats.

Two properties in Brickfields Road and Southfield Street also had their windows smashed, however it is believed they were targeted by mistake.

Locke will now go into West Mercia Police custody, where he will be questioned about the offences.

PC Dave Hawkins said: “A family from Worcester has been suffering a campaign of intimidation and are being repeatedly victimised.

“We also believe innocent residents have been affected simply because whoever is committing these offences has been completely reckless.”
