Droitwich man died after car and lorry crash in Gloucestershire

A DROITWICH man in his 50s has died after a crash last night.

It happened around 8.20pm on the A46 near Teddington in Gloucestershire between the Teddington Hands roundabout and Aston Cross traffic lights.

A grey Renault Megane collided with a white lorry and the car driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

The driver of the HGV, a man in his 30s and from the Worksop area, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after sustaining injuries which were not deemed to be serious. His next of kin is also aware.




Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers.

Police also want anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
