Droitwich job seekers can get help from new club

Droitwich Editorial 23rd May, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

SPA JOB seekers wanting help with looking for work can benefit from a new weekly club being held at Westlands First School.

The Job Club, run by Fortis Living, will cover a variety of subjects, from finding a vacancy and applying to interview techniques.

Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Fortis Living’s employment support worker James Hynes said the club was aimed at making the process of looking for work less daunting.

“When you are looking for a job, especially if you have been out of work for a while, it can be a hard process to get back into.

“The Job Club environment helps you to meet people going through similar problems and to get practical support in a relaxed environment.”

Similar schemes in other areas around Worcestershire have already helped about 30 people get back into work and it is hoped the Droitwich club will be just as successful.

Anyone is welcome to drop into The Job Club and those wanting more information can call James on 01684 579341.
