Droitwich author's crime thriller 'Box' hits the shelves

A STORY about a happily married, honest and successful businessman who leaves for work one morning and gets kidnapped provides the story for a new book by Droitwich author Charlie Summer.

Box centres on main character Mansoor who is caught off guard by a band of petty street criminals vying to make their mark.

They need cash and they need a plan which leads to the gang putting up a ransom demand for Mansoor.

His family and friends have to decide whether to pay up or utilise their own contacts to secure his release.




Retired manufacturing engineer Charlie has been married for almost 20 years and has over 40 years experience in the automotive industry and in the past 25 years worked oversees, travelling extensively throughout Asia, Russia, the Far East, Africa and Europe.
