DROITWICH firefighters were called to help two children in Bretforton yesterday (Monday) after a wall collapsed leaving them with serious injuries.
The crew attended at about 8.55am to the junction of Honeybourne Road and New Street where the boy and girl had been crushed.
Passers-by had to pull the five and seven-year-olds from the ruble before one was air-lifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with back and leg injuries and the other was taken by ambulance with injuries to her face and leg.
