DROITWICH residents are being urged not to panic – there are still plenty of tickets left for the production of Dad’s Army at the town’s Norbury Theatre.
The show, which runs from two Thursdays to Saturdays – May 8 to 10 and from May 15 to 17 – features three episodes from the popular sitcom.
In The Deadly Attachment, which features one of the programme’s famous lines, the Walmington-on-Sea platoon capture a German U-boat captain and his crew.
Then in Mum’s Army, some women join the wannabe soldiers and Cptn Mainwairing has a brief encounter.
And finally there is The Godiva Affair where the platoon rehearse their Morris Dancing routine for the carnival which includes a ride past by the infamous Coventry maiden.
There is also a prize draw being held in conjunction with the production – a meal for four at Portofino’s awaits the winner as part of a promotion from Kopy Kats printers and the restaurant.
Performances start at 7.30pm and tickets, which are £10 (£9 concessions), are available by visiting www.norburytheatre.co.uk or by calling 01905 770154
