A DOG which was thrown from a car during a crash on the M5 near Junction 5 (Droitwich/Wychbold) has been found.
An urgent appeal was launched following the collision earlier.
Owner Matt White told The Standard the car was struck by a hit and run driver which caused it to spin out of control.
The impact catapulted Mungle through the back window of the vehicle and the injured and scared dog fled, leaving his owners concerned for his wellbeing and desperate to find him.
An appeal was launched on social media and Mungle was found around 8pm.
Matt is now on his way to see Mungle but it is not yet known how the dog is or how serious his injuries are.
“I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who shared the appeal and help find him.”
