Conservatives hold onto Mid Worcestershire seat

CONSERVATIVE Nigel Huddleston has retained the Mid Worcestershire seat for the party following a conclusive victory.

He polled 29,763, a staggering 20,532 votes ahead of UKIP’s Richard Keel who recorded an impressive second place for the party with 9,231.

Mr Huddleston replaced former MP Sir Peter Luff who stood down from the role at this election.

Labour’s Robin Lunn finished third with 7,548 while the Liberal Democrats finished fourth as Margaret Rowley collected 3,750 votes.




The Green Party’s Neil Franks finished fifth with 1,993 with a turnout across Mid Worcestershire of 71 per cent.
