Christmas bus and train times for Bromsgrove, Rubery, Droitwich and Birmingham

PEOPLE are being urged to ensure they are aware of any changes to bus and train services over the Christmas period.

BUSES

The 144 will operate a ‘school holiday service’ on Christmas Eve but the 8.15pm from Worcester and 9.45pm from Birmingham will not be running.

The last bus will leave Worcester at 6.20pm, and is due to arrive in Droitwich at 6.44pm, Bromsgrove at 7.01pm, Rubery at 7.31pm and Northfield at 7.44pm.

The last bus from Birmingham will leave at 825pm and is due to arrive in Northfield at 8.53pm, Rubery at 9.06pm, Bromsgrove at 9.22pm and Droitwich at 9.45pm.




There are no buses on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and a Sunday service will run on bank holiday Monday (December 27) and Tuesday (December 28).

TRAINS

After 3pm on Christmas Eve many routes will operate a revised timetable.


The last Cross City trains from Bromsgrove to Birmingham will be at 7.51pm, 8.19pm and 8.48pm with the very last one arriving at New Street at 9.22pm.

The last Cross City train from Birmingham to Bromsgrove will be at 9.03pm. Prior to that, there will be one at 8.03pm.

The last Birmingham New Street to Worcester Shrub Hill trains, via Bromsgrove and Droitwich, will be at 8pm and 9pm.

The last train from Worcester Foregate Street towards Birmingham will be at 7.28pm, stopping at Droitwich at 7.37pm and Bromsgrove at 7.47pm.

The last train from Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham Snow Hill will be at 7.13pm, stopping at Droitwich at 7.21pm and Hagley at 7.43pm.

There will be no trains operating on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

On bank holiday Monday and Tuesday (December 27 and 28), a Saturday level of train service is planned to run, with slightly later first trains and fewer peak-time departures.
