CHILDREN and staff from St Peter’s CofE Academy put the ‘fun’ in fund-raising last Friday and collected £232.70 for Children In Need, writes Amy Ford.
All the pupils came dressed for the occasion in Pudsey ears, t-shirts, pyjamas and face paint to raise cash for the charity.
Donations were placed on a life-size painting of Pudsey who was soon covered up with coins.
Deputy headteacher Lucy Mills praised the school council for coming up with the innovative idea to have the Pudsey painting
She said, “Next time I think we might need a bigger Pudsey.”
