A FUND-RAISER for the Haven Breast Unit in Droitwich has been held at a town care home, raising £700 for the cause.
The event at Newlandhurst, Newland Lane, featured a variety of activities, including a barbecue, bouncy castle, tombolas and raffles.
There was a magician who performed tricks and a variety of games, such as ‘guess the number of sweets in a jar’ and ‘guess the name of the monkey’.
A spokesperson for the home said: “A lot of local people cane along and they and the residents had a great time.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported the event.”
