A NEW Cancer Support Group met in Droitwich for the first time this week.
Sessions take place on the third Tuesday of each month at Rotary House with the next one being between 6.30pm and 8pm on March 15.
They were set up by cancer survivor Louise Broad who was diagnosed in 2008.
She said: “The group is open to everyone after diagnosis and their carers or partners.
“The first session went really well – there was lots of talking, which was good.
“A lot of the time it is about being able to speak to others in the same situation but we are planning to have speakers and activities during future sessions.”
