BURGLARS broke into a house in Ombersley and stole a large quantity of meat from a freezer.

The thieves struck at the property in Boreley Lane around 8pm last Thursday and took 10 Tesco beef joints and two legs of lamb along with a quad bike from a garage.

Other items are thought to have been stolen from the freezer which was at the back of the property.

The thieves were men and were wearing dark clothing.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
