THE BODY of a man has been found in the River Severn at Shrawley.

It was discovered by a member of the public on Friday.

Police officers attended along with fire and rescue crews to recover it and, although no formal identification has yet been made, it is believed to be missing man Pavel Zukowski.

Mr Zukowski was last seen on September 16 when he left his job at a farm in Great Witley.

It was thought he was on his way home to Worcester.

A police appeal followed in a bid to find him after concerns for his welfare.

West Mercia Police officers have contacted Mr Zukowski’s family.

At this time the death is not being treated as suspicious.
