AN ASTON Fields company is urging other firms to enlist the help of local artists to liven up their premises.
GT Access found Birmingham-based Nathan Smith and his company Graffiti Effect after he did some work on the bus shelters in the village for Stoke Parish Council.
Jonathan and Jo Till hired him to create two designs for the company which provides equipment for the construction industry, such as trucks, scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
One was on a wall and the other on cladding.
Jo said: “It is something we had thought about doing for a while but hadn’t found anyone local to wanted to do it.
“We think the one on the wall really makes a statement on the entrance to the industrial estate and really highlights what we do as business.
“More businesses should get involved with young artists use their talents – it is much better than looking at a blank canvas and makes people smile.
“We have had loads of positive feedback from residents and businesses in the area.”
