ARMED police were called to Droitwich after reported sightings of a man in combat gear and a balaclava and carrying a gun in an area of the town.
Officers received the call to Primsland Way and Addyes Way just before 6pm.
The person was apprehended and turned out to be a youngster dressed up and carrying the toy firearm.
Police took him home where ‘appropriate advice was given’.
