AN ILLUSTRATED talk on Archaeology Uncovered in Broadway will be given by Richard Bradley in the John Corbett Room of Droitwich Community Hall.
The event, the latest to be organised by the Droitwich History and Archaeology Society, takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 5.
A huge reservoir is being constructed in Broadway to collect storm waters running off the Cotswold Hills to prevent flooding to parts of the village, and two neighbouring settlements.
Before the work commenced on the £4million flood allieviation scheme, an archaeological dig revealed a series of historic settlements.
Find out more in this illustrated talk which everyone is welcome to.
Admission is £2 for members and £4 for friends and visitors.
