AN APPEAL has been launched to find this iconic MK2 Ford Escort RS2000 which was stolen from Droitwich.
It was taken overnight between Sunday and Monday.
The car has the registration number ‘WWP 907V’.
There have since been two reported sightings – both yesterday (Tuesday).
The first was on the back of a car transporter on the M6 northbound around the Stafford area around 11am.
There was a possible second sighting of the car, this time on a trailer on the A1M at Wetherby at 6.30pm.
Anyone who sees the car or knows where it is should call police on 101.
