THE ANNUAL art exhibition at Hanbury Hall featuring more than 70 works by Droitwich artists gets under way tomorrow, writes Annie Lucas.
The exhibition by members of the Droitwich Arts Network (DAN) will span a variety of disciplines including painting, textiles and poetry with works being shown by professional artists Rosie Philpott and Colin Jack.
The artwork will be displayed until April 15 and the majority will be for sale, including greeting cards and and mounted works.
Members of the public are encouraged to take part in a vote for their favourite piece and can also try their hand at weaving and knitting.
DAN chairman Helen Karakashian said: “In excess of 1,000 people visited the exhibition last year to view the wonderful variety of work on display.”
Entry to the exhibition itself is free but normal admission fees for Hanbury Hall apply.
