DROITWICH Heritage and Information Centre has teamed up with professional Worcestershire photographer Michael Whitefoot to launch an exclusive 2019 calendar featuring views of the town.
The calendars are available from the centre in four different sizes and feature a variety of Droitwich scenes.
Among them are Vines Park, the Edward Winslow statue, the beautiful mosaic interior of Sacred Heart Church, the Chateau Impney, the Lido park bandstand in the snow, and St Richard’s House – where the Heritage and Information Centre is based.
Heritage manager Debbie Watkins said: “We believe this is the first Droitwich-specific calendar we’ve ever had on sale.
“The photos are excellent and it’s a lovely reminder of our local area to hang on the wall at home, or give as a gift.”
Michael, who lived in Droitwich for 15 years, said: “The calendar was great fun to put together.
“A dawn shot of the Wychbold radio masts was taken at 4am for example, and I took advantage of last winter’s snows to get unusual shots of the Lido park and Tourist Office.
“We hope to do more editions of the Droitwich calendar in future years, featuring new views.”
The calendars are available exclusively from Droitwich Heritage and Information Centre, Victoria Square, priced between £5.90 and £6.90.
