Service marks start of celebrations

SPA mayor Coun Anne Taft was among the guests at an event to formally launch the 75th anniversary celebrations of a well-known Droitwich church on Sunday (January 27).

Together with various civic dignitaries including Wychavon District Council chairman Coun Richard Morris, Coun Taft helped

Droitwich Methodist Church kick off a packed programme of events.

The church is celebrating 75 years of the building at its current site and hope couples who were married at the Worcester Road venue will attend a Marriage Celebration Service on February 10 at 10.30am.
