DROITWICH firefighters were among dozens of fire staff from across the county who were honoured at a special awards night last Thursday (January 24).
The Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service celebration took place at the Guildhall in Worcester and two members of staff from Droitwich Fire Station received awards.
Nathan Haste was recognised for finishing the Trainee Firefighter Programme while Natalie Beeby from the Droitwich training centre gained her Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Neal Jones from Bromsgrove station was awarded for completing his Firefighter Development Programme (NVQ Level 3) and Samarjit Butalia was also rewarded for finishing the Trainee Firefighter Programme.
Chief Fire Officer Mark Yates who presented the certificates said: "Everyone who was presented with a certificate has dedicated a great deal of time and effort to their learning and self-development, often alongside their main role with the
service.
"They deserve to be recognised for their commitment and hard work," he added.
