A POPULAR pub on the outskirts of Droitwich has re-opened its doors to customers after an extensive two-month refurbishment.

The Swan in Martin Hussingtree began a new era last month after an extensive revamp which saw the pub redecorated inside and out to give it a softer, more modern feel.

The garden area now has a patio and gazebo while young diners can explore the pub’s new outdoor adventure trail.

Manager Nigel Truepenny, told the Standard: “We are really looking forward to getting the pub up and running again, the place looks great.”

“Our pub is a real hub in the community, we want to make sure that this continues,” he added.
