Fund-raiser is a hit

A RECENT jazz evening held by the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) raised more than £700 to support the Lido.

Guests enjoyed a cheese and wine supper and the fine sounds of George Huxley and his All Star Jazz band during the evening at Sacred Heart Hall.

FODSL member Sheila Preston, said: “It was a super evening and I would like to thank everyone who attended especially our Mayor, Coun Anne Taft and all those who supplied raffle prizes.”
