Hi: 10° Lo:1° 7 day

MORE than £1,600 was raised for Dodford Children’s Farm by kind-hearted pupils from Dodderhill School who held a charity Advent Fair.
The girls, along with local suppliers, set up stalls selling crafts, handmade gifts, food and other items.
Parents, relatives and friends went along to boost the coffers for the cause, which offers short breaks for children who are less fortunate.
Dodderhill’s headmistress Cate Mawston said, as Christmas was such a special time of year, the school wanted to do its bit for a worthy cause.
“The event was great fun and we’re delighted that everyone dug deep and raised a significant sum for the charity.”
Dodderhill School Choir also spread some more Christmas cheer by singing carols at Droitwich Library last Friday.
