YOUNGSTERS from the Westlands area of Droitwich have been cleaning up their local area with a litter pick organised by Festival Housing.

Staff from Festival Housing, along with local police and representatives from Wychavon District Council joined the children to take part in a litter pick around the estate last week.

Festival Housing’s community officer, Paul Edwards, said: “It’s good to get the community to come together and look after their local area.

“I’d like to thank all of the children who took part, their parents and of course our colleagues from the local police and Wychavon District Council.”
