Women can do it

A DROITWICH mum has urged women on the Westlands to join her on a programme to give them confidence and help them get fit.

Allyson Clews praised Festival Housing’s ‘We Can Do It’ programme which consists of friendly helpful ideas for losing weight, lifestyle advice and fitness classes all with other ladies from the Westlands area.

The caring mum signed up to the programme when she moved to the Westlands a couple of years ago as she lacked confidence to get out and make friends and be active in the community.

“I’ve been big since before I had my children and at first I just wanted to lose weight but what I have got from Festival Housing and We Can Do It is so much more than that.

“My confidence has risen and I have made friends which means I know others in the playground at the children’s school which has been great in helping them to settle too,” she added.

The programme is open to all ladies between 16 and 55 years-old and for more information call Caroline Winnall on 01905 579113.
