CARING students at Droitwich Spa High School raised almost £200 to support their four-legged friends with a series of activities.

Teenagers at the Briar Mill school raised £193.56 through donations and a non-uniform day for the Blue Cross animal charity.

The cash was handed over when Nicky Halfpenny from the Blue Cross came into school with Mickey the cat to meet students and educate them about the work of the charity.
