YOUNGSTERS at St Peter’s CE First School have been making friends as part of a dedicated week of activities.
Children celebrated ‘Friendship Week’ by making and sending cards to friends and have also participated in activities with youngsters from other classes.
Teachers also asked pupils to think and talk about how they could be a good friend and make the school a friendlier place to be.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullen, said: “It is so important for pupils to be happy in the school environment, particularly in reception when everything is new and also for new pupils into school.
“This activity highlights the importance of friendship and working together,” she added.
