A DROITWICH councillor has been handed a licence to thrill and raise cash for his three chosen charities with an event at the Chateau Impney next Saturday (November 3).

Wychavon District Council chairman Coun Richard Morris will celebrate 50 years of James Bond films with a dinner dance at the historic Spa hotel from 7.30pm.

And he hopes today's (Friday) release of the latest Bond film, Skyfall, will leave residents shaken and stirred into action to help him raise cash for St Richard’s Hospice, the Wychavon Cadet Forces and Worcestershire Young Carers.

A three course meal, raffle, auction and the chance to raise the stakes Chateau's own Casino Royale are among the delights in a packed evening of entertainment.

Tickets are £40 per person and available from Richard Morris by e-mail at richmoz@hotmail.com or Karen Peters at Wychavon District Council on karen.peters@wychavon.gov.uk.
