A TOWN group which caters for retired or partially-retired people who are free from full-time employment and parental responsibility is looking for leaders.

The Droitwich U3A group attracted more than 100 interested visitors to an initial meeting and leaders have already volunteered to head 12 different interest groups including Bridge, Modern Languages and Walking.

At least another 10 other interest groups need a leader and any retired or semi-retired people interested are invited to join for a fee of just £10, but no qualifications are needed.

A further meeting will be held at the Community Hall on Heritage Way on Tuesday (August 7) between 2.30pm and 4pm.
