KIND-HEARTED Spa residents helped raise more than £300 for St Richard's Hospice thanks to an open garden event across Droitwich recently.
Rotary Club President David Pangbourne handed over £318 to the hospice's Alison Parkes together with Amy Jameson of the Droitwich Spa and District Horticultural Society.
A wide variety of gardens were open during the event, but organisers say many Droitwich residents have attractive gardens and have encouraged them to open them on future occasions.
Amy said: "People have worked very hard to provide a gardener's delight this year. We will be discussing the possibility of whether Droitwich In Bloom can be run as a regular event."
