Cake bake raises a tasty sum

CREATIVE staff at BMI Droitwich Spa Hospital cooked up a storm and raised more than £900 with a cake bake in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital.

The 'Great Cake Bake' was held in support of Birmingham Children's Hospital's Red Balloon Club and raised £930.65 for the heart unit there

All of the money raised on the day extra significant for the hospital's NHS administrator Julia Smith whose son Alex was born with a rare heart condition which required emergency open heart surgery.
