KIND-HEARTED dads and a teacher from St Peter's CE First School in Droitwich scaled the heights in a bid to raise vital funds for new IT equipment.

The 10-strong group took part in the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge which saw them climb Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowden in Wales.

Members of the group completed a 26 mile walk, 10,000ft climb and a 500 mile drive to reach the three landmarks.

The Dad's completed a night walk across the Malvern Hills in preparation for the latest part of the 'Dad's Challenge' which

aims to raise cash for new computers for the school.

Headteacher Tracey O'Keeffe Pullen, said: "I am so proud of what the Dad's have done for the school, it is such a great achievement.

"Everyone at the school is so grateful for the time and effort they have put into this extraordinary challenge," she added.
