YOUNGSTERS from Droitwich RFC's Under 13s team had a training session with a difference when they welcomed England international Charlie Sharples.
And as well as passing on some tricks of the trade, the Gloucester winger gave the team a signed England rugby jersey and sponsored kit bags for all the boys for their forthcoming tour to Berkshire.
Team captain Luke Penn who plays centre said: "It was fantastic to meet a rugby giant like Charlie Sharples – he gave us all a great insight into the life of a professional rugby player.
Droitwich Juniors manager Neil Thwaites said: “This was a most welcome privilege for the club. I’d like to thank Charlie Sharples for his enthusiasm and support which was appreciated and enjoyed by all the players."
