Hi: 10° Lo:4° 7 day

ARTIST Stephen Evans will be showcasing some of his work with an exhibition at the town’s information centre in Victoria Square.
Painting for Pleasure began on Monday (June 11) and showcases some of the 68-year-old’s best work which covers a range of subjects.
Stephen, a member of the Droitwich Arts Network, is a self-taught artist whose techniques and skills have blossomed since he retired in 2004.
He said: “I enjoy painting anything that interests me. I’ve recently finished a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in celebration of her Diamond Jubilee which is one of the pieces of work I will have on display.”
Visitors can purchase Stephen’s paintings during the exhibition at St Richard’s House which runs until July 25.
The centre is open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 1pm on a Saturday.
