AGE UK Droitwich Spa has been given a £5,000 cash boost to help it maintain its work in ensuring older people retain their independence in the community.

The cash is from the Nationwide Foundation and it will be used to assist older people to access financial support, services to maintain them in their own homes and advice on housing and care options.

Chief officer Karen Edwards said: “We are very grateful to the Nationwide Foundation for this donation.”
