Age UK Droitwich Spa was handed the cash by the Nationwide Foundation and it will be used to assist older people to access financial support, services to maintain them in their own homes and advice on housing and care options.
Chief officer Karen Edwards said: "We are very grateful to the Nationwide Foundation for this donation. It will help us to support our local community.”
Nationwide Foundation chief executive Lisa Suchet, said: "Every donation made by Nationwide Foundation aims to help people in need, with a focus on funding charities helping older people.
