PUPILS at St Peter’s CE First School on the Holloway celebrated by holding a themed picnic.

Staff, pupils and parents dressed in red, white and blue and enjoyed the historic occasion with some very creative costumes.

Youngsters have enjoyed learning all about HM the Queen’s reign and the history of the Royal Family.

Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullen said: “Despite the unpredictable weather the children have enjoyed celebrating this wonderful occasion.

“It is always lovely to see so many families come along to support the children and school events,” she added.
